I'm Kaitlyn
of Kaitlyn Creations Photography, where I am passionate about capturing life's special moments through the art of photography. My journey began over a decade ago, with kidnapping my father's camera to take along to art school. Over the years I have photographed many of life's events from growing families, to once in a lifetime affairs, and I can honestly say I truly love what I do and the artwork I create. From grass-roots
beginnings.
I started my photography journey sometime in 2010, when I realized I had been using my father's Canon camera for months and had no intent of taking it back. He has since accepted this, and has received many wonderful family portraits over the years as a result.
I soon began experimenting with friends to execute creative concepts, trouble shoot posing, and letting our creativity run wild. After I earned my art degree I started attending local shoot outs, where I would spend an entire weekend working with different Omaha models back to back. I was seeing families yearly for their updated photos, photographing my high school seniors at their weddings, and having regular creative sessions with models I'd meet at events. My little business grew fast and fabulously!
Creating powerful imagery.
I have always prided myself on being versatile. I have never been afraid to experiment, check out the underwater photos in my Editorial gallery, and I consistently brainstorm on how to deliver the very best photos for my clients. I enjoy every session from families with a flock of littles to acrobats performing in historical theatres; everything brings a new challenge and a new element of fun.
